The event will take place at the historic United Palace this year, a venue rich with style and timeless elegance. With the top-notch guest list and international media coverage, Uptown Fashion Week reaches a multitude of consumers and continues to grow each year.
Uptown Fashion Week is an event that takes place February 10-12, at The United Palace, located in Northern Manhattan. It features emerging and established Latino designers from all over the world. Many designers travel from places like Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Colombia for a chance to showcase their collections on the runway.
The festivity is quickly becoming an influential fashion factor in Northern Manhattan, some may even say it’s an alternative to New York Fashion Week. Couture designer, Michael Costello showcased his Spring/Summer 2015 creations at the most recent event in September.
Uptown Fashion Week was founded by Albania Rosario in 2010 in efforts to connect the fashion worlds of downtown Manhattan and Northern New York City, while raising awareness of domestic abuse.
